Tour is designed for people with paddling experience. Not recommended for the beginner. The fast current of the south end of Shingle Creek can be quite challenging when paddling against it. The reward of this challenge is the swift return with it's twists and turns through the Large White Sugar Sand hills.
This 2.5 hour guided tour launches at The Docks at Shingle Creek (located at Marsh Landing Regional Park). Tour participants experience the raw side of Shingle Creek typically only explored by the locals.
- The Docks at Shingle Creek is literally minutes away from the major theme parks and resort hotels, so including this in your vacation itinerary can be done very readily.
- The ecology and wildlife associated with Shingle Creek is unmatched due to the fact that the paddling trail includes large cypress and oak tress along the banks which allows our guest to experience the "Real Florida"
- This is a unique paddling experience that only a limited number of people will have the opportunity to complete due to the “current challenge” element – for those up for it, this will become a “bucket list” activity you will share with others again and again!
